Box Score 1 After last week's weather caused the scheduled series with Lyon to be delayed, the Eagles found themselves facing the Scots on the road this week. The Eagles took home two more wins as they improved to 7-1 on the season.
Game 1 (Monday) – OKWU 9, Lyon 5:
- The Eagles jumped ahead early, scoring 4 runs in the 1st inning to take the lead.
- After 3 innings, OKWU led 9-4.
- Jesus Rojas had a strong showing, going 4-5 and scoring 1 run.
- Cody Muncy and Derek Sims had 2 RBIs each in the win.
- Oracio De Leon pitched 5 innings and picked up the win for his second of the season.
Game 2 (Tuesday) – Lyon 17, OKWU 8 (7 innings):
- At the end of the 1st inning, Lyon led 4-1.
- OKWU narrowed the gap to 4-3 by the end of the 3rd, but the Scots got their bats going and scored 3 runs in the 4th, 4 runs in the 5th, and 6 runs in the 6th to take the game.
- Seth Delgado had 3 hits for the Eagles and drove in 2 runs.
Game 3 (Tuesday) – OKWU 9, Lyon 4:
- In the second game of the doubleheader, the Eagles bounced back. Neither team could notch a run for the first 3 innings, but the Eagles jumped ahead in the 4th and never looked back.
- Erick Nova had a strong performance on the mound, pitching 6 innings and striking out 13 batters.
- Cody Muncy had 3 RBI, while Jesus Rojas and Josh Logan had 2 each.
