Box Score 1 After going into the tournament as the 2-seed, the Lady Eagles came up short in their opening round game before losing an elimination game that ended their postseason run. The Lady Eagles finished the season at 35-16.
Opening Round – vs Avila (Loss, 4-1):
- Avila scored in the 1st inning to take a 1-0 lead, but when it was OKWU's turn to bat, they matched the run when Lindy Alexander hit a sacrifice fly that scored Sofia Cardenas.
- Neither team was able to produce another run until the 7th inning, when Avila scored 3 runs to take a 4-1 lead. OKWU was unable to match and fell in the opening round matchup.
Elimination Game – vs Tabor (9-1 loss, 6 innings)
- OKWU again scored early. In the top of the 1st, Tahlor Stefek hit an RBI single that scored Cardenas and gave the Lady Eagles a 1-0 lead.
- That would be as good as it got for OKWU. In the 5th, Tabor put up 8 runs to take control of the game. They would add another in the bottom of the 6th to reach the run rule and eliminate the Lady Eagles from the tournament.
- KCAC Freshman of the Year Maddy Wiese got the start, striking out 7 batters and allowing just 4 hits in 4.1 innings of action.
