Bartlesville, OK –
With the conclusion of the 2023 Men's Soccer season, the program said goodbye to a special individual that has been in the program for the past couple of years. Stefan Cvetanovic, as leader on and off the field concluded his play with the Eagles as he participated in his final collegiate season throughout the year.
With much success from the program and individually, Cvetanovic has earned multitudes of honors in his 4 years of playing.
- 4X KCAC Offensive Player of the Year
- 4X KCAC 1st Team
- 2X KCAC Player of the Year
- 4X 1st Team All Region
- 4X NAIA All-American
And the list goes on…
Through his 2023 season, Cvetanovic was stellar for the Eagles. Leading the nation in goals scored, Cvetanovic ended his career with an outstanding national accomplishment. Scoring his 137-career goal in the KCAC Championship, Cvetanovic was named the newest NAIA All-Time Goals Scored Leader. Cvetanovic went on to score 4 more goals in order to extend the record to a whopping 141 career goals.
Cvetanovic ended his senior season scoring 39 goals and shooting an impressive .336 percent. With an impressive final season, Cvetanovic was named the 2023 NAIA Player of the Year. This is the programs 4th athlete to earn this accomplishment and we are extremely proud.
Coach Peterson expressed that Cvetanovic will be extremely missed not only on the field, but in the program and as an individual on campus. Cvetanovic has grown tremendously while in Bartlesville and we look forward to seeing where life takes him after this.
