For their third KCAC series, the Eagles traveled to Winfield, Kansas to face the Southwestern College Moundbuilders. Coming off a series sweep the previous week, the Eagles were hoping to get another sweep and remain at the top of the KCAC rankings.
Game 1 v. Southwestern (11-2 Win)
Braydon Schiess took the bump for the Eagles and threw a beauty. Schiess went 5 scoreless earnings, only giving up 2 hits and striking out a season-high 9 batters.
After one time through the lineup, the Eagles started to get hot, sparked by a Victor Sanchez RBI single in the third inning. The scoring began to take flight in the 4th inning, kickstarted by a solo homerun by Josh Logan. The Eagles then hit through the lineup, with RBIs from Javier Marciel, Ravaughn Morgan, Victor Sanchez, and Josh Logan, ending the 4th inning with a score of 8-0. The Eagles were able to add on a couple more runs, as did the Moundbuilders, resulting in a final score of 11-2.
Game 2 v. Southwestern (13-7 Win)
Evan Foor started on the mound for the Eagles. Foor was excellent in his 6 innings, only letting 2 runners on base while striking out 8.
The Eagles took an early 1-0 lead with a sac fly by Josh Logan, scoring Victor Sanchez. The Eagles offense was quiet for the next few innings, but was able to add on in the 5th inning with a Ravaughn Morgan single, making the score 2-0. The Eagle's offense exploded in the 6th inning, scoring 6 runs by Edinson Renteria, Noah Adams, Jorge Aldrete, and Blake Tablazon. The Eagles picked up right where they left off and added 4 more runs in the 7th inning from back-to-back doubles by Ravaughn Morgan and Victor Sanchez, followed by a pinch-hit RBI from Brendan Poindexter, making the score 13-0. Southwestern would score a few more runs in the last innings of the game, but it wasn't enough, resulting in a 13-7 win for the Eagles.
Game 3 v. Southwestern (11-0 Win)
Braelen Pippen was the starting pitcher for game 3 of the series. Pippen followed suit from the previous starting pitchers and pitched 5 scoreless innings, giving up 2 hits and striking out 5.
The Eagles jumped to an early 3-0 lead by a 3-run homerun from Josh Logan in the first inning. The offense continued to add on in the second from a 2-run triple from Jorge Aldrete and then back-to-back RBIs from Blake Tablazon and Javier Marciel. Entering the third inning, the Eagles weren't done and added 4 more runs to make it a 11-0 ballgame. The Eagles managed to add on one more run in the top of the 7th thanks to a RBI groundout from Connor Drish, scoring Connor Hickey. With their 12-0 win over Southwestern, the Eagles completed the sweep and improved to 8-1 in KCAC play.

The Eagles are coming back to Bartlesville for a series against the York University Panthers for a single game on Friday, March 8th at 2 PM, and a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at noon.
