Earlier this week the inaugural OKWU Beach Volleyball team competed in the Tri-State Conference Tournament, hosted by Ottawa University. The conference, which consists of OKWU, Park, Ottawa, and Missouri Baptist, also announced All-Conference Selections, which included 3 pairs of OKWU players.

Tournament Recap:

• Katie Lindley and Addie Mathias were the most successful of the OKWU pairs during the event. After winning their Round 1 matchup in 2 sets, they beat a pair from Missouri Baptist University in Round 2 to advance to the semifinals.
• In the semifinals, Lindley and Mathias defeated a pairing from Ottawa University to clinch a spot in the championship, winning both sets.
• Their run came to an end when they were defeated in the championship match by another pair from Ottawa, but Lindley and Mathias pushed the champions to 3 sets before being defeated.

All-Conference Honorees

• Katie Lindley and Addie Mathias earned 1^st Team All-Conference Honors.
• Natalie Ater and partner Ashlynn Farrell were named All-Conference 3^rd Team.
• Angelina Arvizu and Allison Howard also were named All-Conference 3^rd Team.
