The Oklahoma Wesleyan beach volleyball team traveled to Plainview, Texas, over the weekend to compete in the WBU Beach Classic hosted by Wayland Baptist University. Battling extreme conditions across both days of competition, the Lady Eagles finished the event with a 2–2 record, bringing their overall record to 5–5. Oklahoma Wesleyan faced strong 20–30 mph winds throughout Friday's matches, followed by freezing temperatures on Saturday that added an extra challenge.
The Lady Eagles opened the tournament against host Wayland Baptist, the No. 8 ranked team in the NAIA, falling 1–4 in the dual. Despite the loss, Sydney Collins and Jordan Isbell delivered a dominant performance to earn Oklahoma Wesleyan's lone win of the match.
Oklahoma Wesleyan bounced back in its next matchup against Howard Payne, sweeping the dual 5–0. The Lady Eagles carried that momentum into Saturday's rematch, earning another victory over Howard Payne 4–1.
The weekend concluded with a tightly contested matchup against Texas Wesleyan, a program receiving votes in the NAIA Top 10 poll. Oklahoma Wesleyan battled throughout the dual but ultimately fell 2–3.
Despite the challenging weather, the Lady Eagles demonstrated resilience against strong competition, finishing the WBU Beach Classic with a 2–2 record.
