In the third game of an extended season series, the OKWU baseball team finally got the better of KCAC foe Friends on Tuesday, winning 6-0 in Wichita. The win puts the Eagles at 26-16 for the season and improves them to 11-12 in the KCAC.

Recap:

• It took a few innings for the Eagles' bats to get going, but in the bottom of the 4^th, Cody Muncy hit a solo homerun to put OKWU on the board.
• In the 5^th, Nicholas Chavez hit an RBI single that scored Josh Logan and gave OKWU a 2-0 lead.
• In the 7^th, Logan hit a solo shot of his own to make it 3-0 Eagles.
• The Eagles added 3 more runs in the top of the 8^th – an RBI single from Seth Delgado, a sacrifice fly from Jesus Rojas, and an RBI single from Hector Manon.
• On the mound for OKWU, Evan Foor pitched a complete game shutout, allowing just 2 hits and striking out 4 on the afternoon.
