Men's tennis team picked up their first victory of the season by beating Howard Payne University 4/3 for their second match of their Texas road trip yesterday!

After dropping the doubles point while clinching the top spot (Hoyte/Callahan), the Eagles had to fight their way back in singles to secure the win. With a solid performance at #2 & #3 singles from Raphael Alvado and Manuel Espinal, the Eagles secured two points. Preston Callahan added a point for the Eagles with a win in straight sets at #4 singles. After losing at #1 and #5 singles in tough battles, the decision of the match came to Cash Harrison at #6 singles. Clinching the victory in the super tie break, Harrison offered the win for the Eagles. 

Men's Tennis is back on the court on Tuesday morning at 10am to take on McMurry University in Abilene, TX for their final match of the road trip.
