FORT WORTH, Texas –
The Oklahoma Wesleyan University men's and women's tennis teams opened their 2026 fall season at the
Texas Wesleyan Ram Invite, held September 4-5 at the
McLeland Tennis Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
The two-day tournament provided the Eagles their first opportunity of the season to compete in a tournament environment and gain valuable match experience early in the fall schedule against several school from several divisions. Each player had the opportunity to compete in flighted draws through 3 single and 3 doubles matches.
Throughout the weekend, Eagles were able to test themselves against quality competition while continuing to develop their games in both singles and doubles. The tournament also gave several returning Eagles the opportunity to build on last season while newcomers made their first appearances representing Oklahoma Wesleyan.
With the Ram Invite serving as the first competition of the 2026-27 season, the weekend was an important opportunity for the Eagles to establish match rhythm and identify areas of focus moving forward.
