Julia Mongin, Head Coach of the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Men's and Women's Tennis programs, has been named the 2025 KCAC Head Coach of the Year. This recognition reflects her outstanding leadership and the competitive success of both teams this spring.
Now in her fifth season as head coach, Mongin has led the women's team to an impressive 17-5 record, while guiding the men's team through a season of grit and growth. Her commitment to building a strong team culture, developing talent, and encouraging her players to compete with integrity has made a significant impact on the program and has earned her recognition across the KCAC.
She has truly turned the women's program around, building a team that not only competes at a high level but represents the university with pride, sportsmanship, and class. Her dedication to developing well-rounded student-athletes on the court, in the classroom, and in the community has not gone unnoticed.
We are proud of Coach Mongin and the progress she has made with the program. As the postseason approaches, she continues to lead OKWU Tennis with focus and determination, setting a strong example for her athletes and the university.
