Box Score The OKWU Women's Soccer team has been rolling so far during the 2020 season and they looked to keep rolling from their 10-0 victory over Sterling College last week as they welcomed the Bethel College Threshers to the OKWU Soccer Complex for this evening's 5:30 PM KCAC matchup. The Eagles wasted no time as Marjolen Nekesa found the back of the net within the first 10 minutes of the game off an assist from Laura Maria. OKWU would go on to add 3 more goals before taking a 4-0 lead into halftime.
The start of the second half had some quick action as well as Faith Mosaira only needed 5 minutes before she found the back of the net on a great pass from Ruth Khasoha for a commandind 5-0 lead. After tacking on 4 more goals before the final buzzer, the Eagles secured a dominating 9-0 home victory.
Maria and Khasoha really set the high powered offense into motion as they collected 3 assists and 2 assists respectively.
Nekesa led the relentless scoring of the OKWU offense with her career game high performance of 6 goals along with one assist. Tania Mocholi and Daniela Ortiz each add in a goal of their own on the evening.
With the win the Eagles improved to 4-0 on the season.
