With a chance to clinch the KCAC regular season crown on the line, the Lady Eagles didn't hesitate, pouncing to an early lead and piling on in the first half to control the game. With the 8-0 victory, the Lady Eagles remain undefeated in the KCAC and clinch the regular season championship.

Recap:

• Laura Maria scored in the 3^rd minute of action, assisted by Marjolen Nekesa.
• Two minutes later, Maria would find the back of the net again, this time off an assist from senior Cloe Johnson.
• In the 8^th minute, Marjolen Nekesa received a beautiful cross from Alana Roberts and powered it past the goalkeeper, giving the Lady Eagles a 3-0 lead.
• Kayla Beaver added a goal in the 28^th minute.
• Nekesa scored again, this time off the feed from ReNaisha Mitchell.
• And just before the half, Faith Mosaira scored to give OKWU a 6-0 first half advantage.
• After the half, Alana Roberts received a pass from Marjolen Nekesa and scored a goal in the 58^th minute.
• Just before the game ended, Kendrie Escoe scored off the Daniela Ortiz find to make the margin 8-0 in favor of the Lady Eagles.

Now the Numbers:

• OKWU owned a 21-4 shot advantage on the day.
• The Lady Eagles will finish the regular season with a perfect 8-0 record at home.
• Laura Maria (22) and Marjolen Nekesa (18) have combined for 40 goals this season, more than 50% of the Lady Eagles' offensive production.
• This is the 10^th shutout victory by the Lady Eagles this year.
