Bartlesville, Okla. - On Saturday afternoon April the 3rd, the Lady Eagles, the #13 ranked team in country, played host to a KCAC tournament quarterfinal matchup. The Lady Eagles who received the #1 seed for the tournament, hosted the Tabor College Bluejays. In their prior meeting the Eagles were able to blank the Bluejays defeating them 5-0.

Would we see a repeat performance from the Eagles or would the Bluejays pull off the major upset? In the 1st half the Lady Eagles would answer this question early. The Eagles would score 3 times in the half. Marjolen Nekesa would be responsible for 2 of the goals (11:00 & 17:30) with the third coming from Tania Mocholi (43:25). Laura Maria would be credited with the assist on Nekesa's 2nd goal and ReNaisha Mitchell was credited with the assist on Mocholi's goal. The Eagles would out shoot the Bluejays in the half, 14-1 (SOG 10-1).

Coming out of half, the Lady Eagles continues to extend their lead as they would find the back of the net 4 more times. These 4 goals would come from Maria (50:47, assist Kiley McLemore), Mocholi (54:32, assist Maria), and 2 more from Nekesa (58:08 & 69:20, assist Valaria Pankratova for both).

On the night OKWU was able to out shoot the Bluejays 25-9 (SOG 22-3). Offensively Nekesa lead the scoring with 4 goals followed by Mocholi with 2 goals. Maria and Pankratova would lead the assists with 2 a piece. Defensively, OKWU's pair of keepers Nerea Perez Mora and Reagan Wilmon saved all 3 shots on goal. 

The #1 seeded Lady Eagles will now take on the #4 seeded Southwestern College. This KCAC tournament semifinal match will take place on Wednesday, April 7th at Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, KS. This semifinal match is scheduled for a 4:00pm start time.
