Led by the offensive strength of forward Laura Maria, the Lady Eagles downed Kansas Wesleyan by a 3-1 margin in their KCAC opener. Maria contributed two goals to lead the Eagles.

• KWU forward Alex Liles scored late in the game to give KWU its first and only goal of the match.
