Box Score Springfield, MO – The #15 Women's Soccer team was on the road for a KCAC match-up with KCAC newcomer, the Evangel University Valor this evening. Entering the day 8-1-3, and coming off of a rough week in the KCAC, the Lady Eagles looked to regain confidence and move back up in the NAIA standings with a win.
Doing just that, the Lady Eagles went on to defeat the Valors 1-0, and improved to 7-0-2 in conference play. Scoring in the first with a goal off the foot of Tania Mocholi, the Eagles jumped out on top and held the lead for the remainder of the half, as well as the remaining 45 minute second half.
The Lady Eagles outshot the Valor 35 to 5, with 19 of the shots being on goal for the Lady Eagles. In goal for the Lady Eagles, Aida Sanchez was perfect, ending the night with a shutout and a 100% save percentage.
