Box Score Sterling, KS – The #10 Women's Soccer team was on the road the 30th of September for another KCAC match-up with the Sterling College Lady Warriors. Looking to remain undefeated in conference play, the Lady Eagles went on to defeat the Lady Warriors 7-1 in the 90 minutes of regulation.
Starting the game off on the right foot, the Lady Eagles scored first with a goal off the foot of Laura Gieseler in the 12th minute of play. Keeping the momentum going, the Lady Eagles scored 3 more goals in the first half and entered the 2nd with a 4-0 advantage.
Scoring 3 in the second, the Lady Eagles were fierce and consistent. Out of the 7 goals, 6 different Lady Eagles scored a goal, with Linn Joelsson having herself a multi goal game with 2 goals.
The Lady Eagles outshot the Lady Warriors 25-5 with 20 shots on goal. In goal for the Lady Eagles, Aida Sanchez put together an impressive outing, with 2 saves on 2 shots on goal; only allowing 1 goal in the final minute of play.
