A Year in Review: 2024-2025

OKWU Athletics

The 2024-205 Athletic Year was one to remember for the OKWU Eagles Athletic Department, taking home at least one Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship in each athletic season; as well as one program making it to the NAIA National Tournament from each season.
 
2024 Fall
Men's Soccer
Ending the year 22-2, the Eagles put together another impressive year on the field. Taking home the KCAC Regular Season and KCAC Tournament Championships once again, the Eagles earned an automatic bid to the National Tournament for the chance at a National Championship run. Ending their season in the NAIA Men's Soccer National Tournament Final 8, the Eagles ended the year with a strong finish and fight till the very end.

Women's Soccer
Having another stellar season on the field, the Lady Eagles concluded their season with an overall record of 16-1-4. With a 12-0-1 conference record, the Lady Eagles took home the KCAC Regular Season Championship for the 7th consecutive season. Defeating ranked opponents all season long, the Lady Eagles bowed out of the 2024 season at the NAIA National Tournament Opening Rounds.

Volleyball

2024 was a historic year for the Lady Eagles on the court, making their way to the final site of the NAIA National Tournament for the second year in program history. With a 31-4 record overall, the Lady Eagles took home the KCAC Regular Season and KCAC Tournament Championship for the 2nd consecutive year.

Cross Country
The Lady Eagles finished their season with 1 athlete representing OKWU Athletics at NAIA Nationals, Natalia Quiroz. Quiroz is a standout athlete for the Lady Eagles Cross Country team and competes in long distance races for OKWU Track & Field as well.
 
 
2024-2025 Winter
Men's Basketball
Ending their year with a trip to Kansas City, Missouri for the NAIA National Tournament Final Site and play in the NAIA National Tournament Final, falling to College of Idaho and becoming the National Runner Up. Finishing the year 28-8, the Eagles were impressive on the later half of season and made strides for the program.

Women's Basketball

Having their best year in 5 years, the Lady Eagles ended their season 13-15 overall & 10-12 in conference play. The Lady Eagles had impressive wins throughout the season and graduated worthy seniors.

Wrestling
Men's Wrestling started off the season with national notice, being placed in the receiving votes category on the NAIA National Polls. Ending on a high note, the Eagles sent two individuals to NAIA Wrestling Nationals in Park City, Kansas.

2025 Spring
Baseball
Ending their season with an NAIA Opening Rounds Appearance, the Eagles had an excellent season on the field and in the KCAC. Ending regular season play with a 30-6 record, the Eagles went on to win the KCAC Regular Season Championships, securing a bid to the NAIA National Tournament Opening Rounds.

Softball

With a trip back to the KCAC Tournament in Branson, MO, the Lady Eagles bowed out of the 2025 season with a final record of 33-18. Starting off season with a 15 game win streak, the Lady Eagles sailed through regular season with great success and good standings in the KCAC.

Beach had another year of travel and excited matches on the sand court. Ending their year at the confernce tournament, the Lady Eagles continue to grow and develop as the program does.

Tennis

Ending the historic year at the final site of the National Tournament, the Lady Eagles ended their year 19-5. The best year in program history, the Lady Eagles were KCAC Runner-Up's and dominated the field this past season.
